July came around and as ever that meant summer camp! Our scouts teamed up with explorers from Woodsmoke ESU and a contingent from our friends across the Atlantic from 12th/26th scouts in Cambridge Ontario.

Setting out for the Lake District and the wooded campsite of Great Tower the scouts found themselves just below the clearing of Castle Rock and its views across the Lakeland fells. The week that followed saw the scouts, hike climb, raft and of course experience all the weather that the Lakes have to offer. Those lakes come from somewhere….

Now we start getting ready for our return trip to our friends in Canada in a couple of years time……
